Updated 4/28/2025

Welcome to Woodinville Fresh Harvest

Welcome friend, to the Woodinville Fresh Harvest CSA, hosted by us (Alex and Tyler) here at Blue Glass Farm! We couldn't be more excited to share our farm's bounty with you this season. We're dedicated to growing the freshest, most delicious, and sustainably produced food for our community. Thank you for joining us in nurturing the land, supporting local food systems, and celebrating a deeper connection to what's on your plate.

Understanding Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a direct partnership between our farm and our members. Instead of buying produce each week, you pay upfront for a share of our harvest, securing a portion throughout the season.

In return for your early-season financial support, we promise to plan, plant, and put in the hard work needed to make each year an incredible growing season, bringing week after week of amazing veggies to your dinner table. We're grateful for your trust and commitment—it helps us focus on what we do best: growing good food for you.

How Does It Work?

Our CSA season lasts 18 weeks, starting in June. Depending on your membership option, you'll receive a share every week or every other week. Each share features a diverse selection of the freshest produce available, reflecting the natural rhythm of the season.

What You Get

A typical CSA week will contain 6 - 10 items, depending on the season. You might get a bag of salad mix, some kale, a pint of fresh cherry tomatoes, asian greens, a small head of cabbage, some cucumbers, and a bunch of radishes. Each week will be different. You may see peas in the spring, tomatoes and cucumbers in the summer, and pumpkins in the fall.

By becoming a member of our community, you share in both the bountiful harvests and the occasional challenges that come with nature's whims. Weather, pests, and other unforeseen events can affect our fields, but that's part of what makes a CSA special—a genuine partnership between our farm and the families we feed.

We prioritize the flavor, freshness, and sustainability of our produce, even if that means some veggies show up sporting a little extra character! Our members value not just the taste but also how our food is grown, supporting a healthier planet and a healthier you.

Your Woodinville Fresh Harvest Membership

Pick-Up Options

Our CSA comes in two main options:

  • Weekly Share: Pick up every week.
  • Bi-Weekly Share: Pick up every other week.

Choosing the Right Share

  • If you cook often or have a large family, you'll likely appreciate the variety of a Weekly Share.
  • If you're new to cooking with fresh produce, have a smaller household, or prefer a more gradual introduction, a Bi-Weekly Share might be the best fit. Once the season begins, we typically cannot adjust your share size due to production constraints.
  • CSAs are an excellent way to explore new vegetables—so if you're "veggie-curious," a Bi-Weekly Share is a great starting point!

Payment & Policies

  • Payment: Full payment is due at the start of the season. Any members that join mid-season, will receive a prorated price to account for any missed weeks, but space is limited so sign up early to guarantee your slot.
  • No Refunds: We ask CSA members to commit for the season so it is important that you make sure the logistics and share size will work well for you. We do not offer refunds.
  • Transfer Option: You're welcome to transfer your membership to someone else. We'll help guide them through the CSA process.

If you're unsure about joining, we're here to answer questions and help you explore a more farm-centric way of eating.

Pickup Information

CSA membership also means committing to picking up your share during a specific weekly time window. We currently do not offer delivery, but please let us know if you'd be interested in that option for the future.

When You Pick Up

We divide our CSA into three groups:

  • Every Week (weekly, starting Week 1 of June)
  • Odd Week (bi-weekly, starting Week 1 of June)
  • Even Week (bi-weekly, starting Week 2 of June)

How You Pick Up

  • Time: Thursdays, 4–7 p.m.
  • Location: 16215 140th Pl NE, Woodinville, WA 98072
  • Drive approximately 100 yards down the road until you see a Blue Glass Farm sign on your right. Turn in there.

If someone else will pick up your share, please let us know by email. If they'll be doing so regularly, we can include them in our weekly communications.

Missed Pickups

We understand life happens! If you cannot make it during the scheduled window, contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to find a home for your share—often through a local food access organization—to prevent waste. You're also welcome to have a friend or family member pick up on your behalf (just let us know).

Share Splitting

Want to split a share with a friend? That's great! While we can't split the transaction itself, we're happy to arrange:

  • Multiple email contacts
  • Alternate pickup persons

Communication

We'll email you weekly updates on what to expect in your share. You can also stay informed via our website and social media.

If you ever have questions or concerns, please reach out at admin@blueglassfarm.com. We value open dialogue and love hearing from our members.

Connecting with the Farm & Community

We believe farm visits are a wonderful way to see where your food comes from and connect with both the land and our team. We welcome you to schedule an appointment to witness the magic of regenerative farming in action.

Because our hands are often in the dirt, we don't maintain regular public hours. However, we're exploring options for more frequent farm tours and limited volunteer opportunities, while also ensuring everyone's safety and staying in line with labor regulations. If this is of interest, please reach out—we'd love to hear from you!

In addition to visiting, one of the best ways to support our mission is by cooking and enjoying seasonal produce in all the creative ways you can think of! Share with friends and neighbors! Post your recipes! Tell us if these heirloom and unique varieties we have picked out make a difference in your dinner! We're always open to your ideas, so please let us know how we can make your experience even better!

Thank You!

Thank you for joining the Woodinville Fresh Harvest CSA! We are incredibly grateful for your support and excited to share the bounty of our farm with you this season. We look forward to a delicious and rewarding journey together.
